Camera Ready

The camera-ready submission of the final version of your paper, revised according to the reviewers' comments, consists of four simple steps:

  1. Prepare the final version of your paper.
  2. IEEE style check: upload and approve your paper on IEEE PDF eXpress. The system will create an IEEE-compliant pdf file of your paper.
  3. Upload the file obtained from step 2 to the DFTS easychair website.
  4. Copyright transmission.

Prepare your final version

All papers must conform to the IEEE Formatting Guidelines to be published in the electronic conference proceedings and the IEEE Xplore. Submissions must be in PDF format.

All papers should be formatted as A4 or letter, two-columns, single spaced, Times or equivalent font of minimum 10pt. The page limit for long (regular) and special session papers is 6 pages, and for both the short and poster papers is 4 pages (references included). Additional pages have a fee of 100 € per page. Only long regular papers may be extended, with a maximum of two additional pages.

Make sure you are using the correct IEEE style file: the title should be typeset in 24pt font, and the body of the paper should be typeset in 10pt font. Use either the MS Word template or the LaTeX class (available here). We strongly encourage the use of LaTeX for the preparation of the paper, please use:

IEEE style check

Before you submit your camera ready for the accepted papers, you must use IEEE PDF eXpress to verify the IEEE Xplore compatibility. Note that IEEE PDF eXpress can also be used to create the PDF file from your LaTeX source files, such that the PDF file is automatically IEEE Xplore-compatible. If your camera-ready version is incompatible with IEEE Xplore, your paper will not be included in the conference proceedings. The detailed instructions for using IEEE PDF eXpress are as follows:

  1. Access the IEEE PDF eXpress site at: https://ieee-pdf-express.org by using conference ID 70440X.
  2. Create a new account if you are a first time user.
  3. For each conference paper, click "Create New Title".
  4. Enter identifying text for the paper (title is recommended but not required).
  5. Click "Submit PDF for Checking" or "Submit Source Files for Conversion".
  6. Indicate platform, source file type (if applicable), click Browse and navigate to file, and click "Upload File". You will receive online and email confirmation of successful upload.
  7. You will receive an email with your Checked PDF or IEEE PDF eXpress Plus-converted PDF. When you submit a PDF for checking, the email will show if your file passed or failed.
  8. Once the paper has been checked/converted (you will be notified by email), please click on the “Approve” link. Be careful: without clicking the “Approve” link, you cannot obtain your IEEE-compliant PDF file needed for the next step.

IMPORTANT Any changes made to a PDF after IEEE PDF eXpress Plus conversion or PDF checking may invalidate Xplore compatibility and run the risk of being excluded from publication on IEEE Xplore.

Upload to easychair

The file obtained from the last step must be uploaded to the DFTS Easychair website: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=dfts-2026

Copyright transmission

Please fill the following fields for the IEEE eCopyright form and follow the instructions given in the next pages, once you have been redirected to the IEEE eCopyright website.

When an author completes the online copyright transfer process and submits the form, he/she will receive an automated confirmation email letting him/her know that the transfer has been completed successfully.
